Benefit Event at Ten Thousand Villages
Peace House Africa (PHA) is partnering with Ten Thousand Villages in Saint Paul for a benefit event on Thursday, October 27th from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. During the event, Ten Thousand Villages will donate 20% of their total sales to PHA. Ten Thousand Villages is a non-profit, fair-trade store specializing in unique handmade products. The company strives to improve the livelihood of tens of thousands of disadvantaged artisans in 38 countries. The product sales help pay for food, education, healthcare and housing for artisans who would otherwise be unemployed or underemployed.

Your business will be a part of a campaign that is matching an ASHA (American School and Hospitals Abroad) grant so students at Peace House can continue their education in advanced secondary schooling. This will allow students to apply to a university once they graduate.  Each dollar donated is tripled in value, in Africa.
